Kalevi Show Highlights 2011
February: A fabulous return to the show ring for Kalevi this
weekend with some great results at the Berwick Ag Show on
26 February with Taavi awarded Best of Breed, Tarja taking a
big win as Runner Up of Breed, but then Miia going all out and
being awarded 'Australian Bred in Group'. Woo hoo to all our
guys, but especially to Miia - well done on such a big win!!!
January: Some great results in January for Kalevi Lappies:
Firstly a huge congratulations to Team Comet for their
win in SA 'Baby Puppy in Group'.
And not forgetting Tarja and her handler Megan for gaining
two lots of points which go towards her quest to be an
Australian Champion.

December: We'd like to announce that we have successfully mated our Danish import girl Mutkis with Odin. Puppies are due 28 December. Stay tuned for more information!
July: In the early hours on Monday 25 July Miia whelped six bouncing bubbas. Six puppies, all black and tan. Congratulations to Miia and to the sire Louis!

April: We are very excited today to announce our plans to mate Miia (Articmal Chasing Rainbows) to Louis (Aust Ch C'est Louis Armstrong des Chevaloupsgreg (Imp USA) HT. The mating is planned for next month (June). See more info on our future litters page.
Also, some great news on the health front for a few of our guys. Firstly Odin, Tarja and Mutkis receiving all clear on their eye exams, and some preliminary indication that both Odin and Tarja breezed through their hip and elbow scores! Of course, we have to wait for the offical scores to come back, but its very nice to know that on initial obversation they looked great!
February: It is with a very heavy heart that I pass on the sad news of the passing of Blaze - Ch Theldaroy Im Not Wild HIT. Blaze is one of the first Lappies we ever met and with his big personality wrapped David and I around his little paws. Infact, on many an occassion David did threaten to doggie nap Blaze, such was his lovely nature. Our deepest sympathies go out to his owner Vanessa. RIP Blaze.

January: An action packed month was January as we welcomed Mutkis, our new import girl, home after her 30 day stay in Melbourne quarantine.
